Valle Maira takes is named after the river with the same name that flows all along it. The territories and peaks of the valley cross a great number of different geological formations that are identified by geological and petrological characteristics which are easily recognizable.
In this valley is located the stopover Ussolo 1.337 m, community of Prazzo.
