The territory of Valle Gesso is entirely included in the province of Cuneo. Valle Gesso extends along about thirty kilometres and is crossed by the wide basin of the river Gesso, extensively modelled by the action of the glaciers. This valley constitutes the "heart" of the Maritime Alps, where the main summits are situated, and is included within the area of the Maritime Alps Natural Park.

In this area is located the stopover Trinità 1.093 m, municipality of Entracque.
