Valle Insciauda is a secondary valley of Valle Stura di Demonte which follows the course of the river Stura di Demonte. Its territory is entirely included within the province of Cuneo, between the Maritime Alps and the Cottian Alps. At its head is located the Maddalena pass, an important passage between France and Italy.
On the territory of the municipality of Vinadio, is located the stopover Sant'Anna 2.010 m, community of Vinadio.
