Refuge La Locanda di Celle Macra, (ex Maraman), Fraction Chiesa, Municipality of Celle Macra

The Museo Seles – Museo Multimediale dei mestieri itineranti – Acciugai (Multimedial Museum of the itinerant trades – Anchovy traders) is an exhibition that tells the story of the itinerant trades of Valle Maira and especially that of the anchovy traders. The documented activities originated from the municipalities of Dronero, Celle di Macra, Macra and Paglieres The museum was projected to describe the local reality in its historical aspects, the anthropological characters and the characteristics of the socio-cultural identity of the community that hosts it. www.comune.celledimacra.cn.it

The Chiesa Parrocchiale di San Giovanni Battista, dating from the 18th century, is characterized by the presence of a Romanesque steeple. Inside it is preserved a Polyptych triptych by Hans Clemer, composed of five wooden panels depicting the Madonna on her throne with the Child, on the right Saint John Evangelist and Saint Paul and on the left Saint Peter and Saint John the Baptist presenting the commissioner in prayer. www.comune.celledimacra.cn.it

The Cappella di San Sebastiano from 1300, located in Borgata Chiotto, is a simple stone edifice with a slate roof. Inside is preserved the oldest stone altar of the province of Cuneo and some frescos painted by Giovanni Baleison, depicting the martyrdom of Saint Sebastian in the apse, and on the right wall the Final Judgement. www.comune.celledimacra.cn.it
