The Sanctuary of Oropa is a Marian sanctuary, dedicated to the Black Madonna, built in a natural amphitheatre formed by the mountains. The Sanctuary includes, apart from a Sacro Monte, the Original Church built upon the base of an ancient votive chapel and the present real and proper Sanctuary equipped with various structures destined for the hospitality of believers and tourists. www.santuariodioropa.it

The Sacro Monte of Oropa is a complex that was realized between the 17th and 18th century, formed of twelve chapels situated outside the walls of the Sanctuary of Oropa. The chapels are dedicated to the life of Virgin Mary and populated by life size polychrome terracotta statues. www.santuariodioropa.it

The Museo dei Tesori e Appartamenti reali dei Savoia (Museum of the Treasures and royal Appartments of the Savoy), preserves in its four rooms the gold, the jewels, the liturgical clothing and the documents that marked the history of the Sanctuary through the centuries. www.santuariodioropa.it
