The Vallone di Elva is a lateral valley to Valle Maira, crossed by the river with the same name. It is narrow in the first part, with gorges and narrow passages, while in the higher part it opens up in wide basins. Your eyes can wander from here toward the highest peaks of the Cottian Alps. This valley has rich traditions and is characterized by the Occitan language.
