Rifugio San Bernardo 1628 m – Lago di Ragozza 1958 m – Rifugio Gattascosa 1993 m – Passo Monscera 2105 m – Zwischbergen – Bord 1359 m

From Rifugio San Bernardo shortly after you enter the woods you pass through a clear peat bog to reach Lake Ragozza and the beautiful Rifugio Gattascosa and the Monscera Pass (you enter Switzerland for a day and a half) very panoramic we are in front of the Fletschorn triptych , Lagginhorn and Weissmeis, Monte Leone is also visible, on the descent you take the path between meadows and fir woods

From the San Bernardo refuge (1628 m) follow the signs for Via del Monscera. In the first section, you follow a track that enters the pine forest to reach a crossroads where the path begins. The route begins to climb until it reaches a vast plateau (Ridorosso) with an extensive peat bog which can be crossed using the special wooden walkways to avoid trampling. At the end of the peat bog you start to climb again, you reach a ruined hut and continue up to Lake Ragozza (1958 m). The route climbs slightly until you reach a hillock and then descends to the underlying Gattascosa Hut (1993 m). From the refuge, follow a stretch of dirt track, passing two peat bogs, and then turn left onto the path that reaches Lake Monscera (2078 m) and from here the homonymous pass (2105 m) 2.00 hours, the path begins to descend between meadows and larch woods on steep steps then it crosses and cuts the carriage road which goes up to Alpe Waira, at the bottom you pass the Grosses Wasser stream and you soon reach Swischbergen (1359 m), then continue towards Bord where there is the stage place at 3.30
